Overview

Picton High School is a comprehensive Years 7 to 12 school located in semirural south-west Sydney. The project aimed to accommodate growth from 1200 to 2000 students in a major overhaul of much of the site. The new masterplan saw the retention of many existing buildings, but the removal of some, and of existing demountable buildings, thereby improving site flow and amenity. The project features integrated learning support units, distributed resource nodes and an emphasis on vocational education spaces.
